Alex Morgan is an American football player who was born on July 2, 1989. Alex Morgan plays as a forward for Tottenham Hotspur of the English FA Women’s Super League and the United States women’s national soccer team . From 2018 she has been appointed as the Captain of the National Team.

Alex Morgan was born on 2 July 1989 to Pamela Morgan and
Michael Morgan in the Los Angeles County suburb of San Dimas, California. Morgan had two siblings sisters Jeni and Jerry Morgan.
She started playing soccer at an early age in AYSO, She was a multi-sport athlete and her father was her first coach as she stated many times that her father is her coach.
Later Morgan attended UC Berkeley, where she played for the California Golden Bears from 2007 to 2010. After being a candidate for the Herman Trophy, She became the first Golden Bear to be one of the top three finalists for the award.
