Dhivyadharshini was born on 17 February 1985 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu to K. Neelakandan (Father) and N. Srilatha (Mother).

She was born on Hindu Religion and was grown up with her brother Sudharshan Neelakandan (airline pilot)and Sister Priyadharshini Kishore Neelakandan (actress and TV host).

Career:

Dhivyadharshini did her schooling at Our Lady’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai, and did her graduation from Anna Adarsh College Chennai and Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai.

She began her career at the age of 10 with the kids’ quiz show “Siruvar Nigazchi.”

After this, she hosted many other Tamil TV shows that include “Jodi Number One” (2006), “Boys Vs Girls”(2009), “Koffee with DD”(2013), “Achcham Thavir”(2016), and many other from which she became a very popular host.

In 2003 she also appeared in the Tamil TV serials “Thadayam”, “Ahalya”, and “Arasi” 2007.

In 2019, DD was a part of the jury on the dancing TV reality show “Dancing Super Stars” (2019).

Apart from acting, she has also lent her voice to many actresses.

In an interview, she revealed that although she hosts many shows but still, has a fear of the stage and stated that she feels like puking sometimes before going to a stage.
