He is married to a management author, Swati Lodha, and the couple has a daughter named Swara Lodha. At his early age, Lodha was named “Baal Kavi”. He had a passion for acting, writing the poem from his early age so he left his job for the passion.
Lodha initially appeared in a comedy circus as a participant and later in the Comedy Ka Mahamukabla.
In 2008 Shailesh Lodh started working in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Along with the cast of the show, he also narrates the happening of the show.
