Shobha Shetty was born on 20 January 1990 to Rathanamma Manju Shetty and Ravi Preethi, later she was brought up in Bangalore. She has two siblings an elder brother and an elder sister.
The actress obtained her M.Sc degree in Sustainable Development from Bangalore University. Shobha was extremely passionate about acting since childhood.
Career:
She perfectly utilized every chance that came on her way. She started her acting career in 2013 with the Kannada serial Agnisakshi on Colors Kannada. Later she quit the show midway owing to her movie project.
Shetty made her big-screen debut in the year 2017 with the Kannada film Anjani Putra alongside Puneeth Rajkumar and Rashmika Mandanna.
She then returned to the small screen with the Kannada serial, Kaveri. Shetty made her entry into the Telugu Television industry by playing an important role in the serial Astha Chamma, for which she received the award for the best actor for acting in the serial.
After enjoying his success as a debutant, the actress became a household name after essaying the negative role of Mounitha in the super hit TV series Karthika Deepam in Star Maa.
The serial Karthika gave her immense popularity and fetched her with many awards. Shetty was seen next as the lead in the ETV Telugu serial Lahiri Lahirilo.
Shetty’s other notable works include ETV Telugu’s Attarintiki Daredi as Snigdha and the movie Sompa (2002). From playing a role of a stylish vamp to a girl next door, it becomes evident that the actress can do any role with utmost perfection.
