Chandi Devi Temple was built in 1929 by Suchat Singh in his reign as the King of Kashmir. Whereas, the main sculpture or murti of Chandi Devi was set up by Adi Shankaracharya.

The shrine is dedicated to Goddess Mansa Devi which is located in the holy place Haridwar. The temple is located 7-8 km away from Har ki Pauri. The temple is located at the top of the Bilwa Parvat from where you can see a gigantic view of Haridwar. The temple consists of one of the Siddh Peeth which is worshiped with high faith.
